Funded by the New Horizon of Seniors Program, the Start Smart and Stay Safe (4S) project aims to reduce social isolation among seniors through a comprehensive, community-driven approach meticulously designed to combat the profound and multifaceted issue of racialized seniors. It moves beyond simple social gatherings to actively promote sustained volunteerism and critically enhance awareness of pressing elder matters, including fraud and abuse prevention, financial literacy, and navigating often-inaccessible community programs and services.
