CRESS Centre collaborates with over a dozen community partners and grassroots organizations to build organizational capacity, strengthen partner initiatives through shared expertise, and advance the core value of collective action for meaningful outcomes.
These collaborations include a wide range of community-focused initiatives such as youth mental health programs, multicultural arts and crafts projects, safety training sessions, entrepreneurship and cultural events, and senior engagement activities delivered in partnership with various organizations across Calgary.
Some of the initiatives include mental health programs for youth and children led by Planet Youth, multicultural arts and crafts projects led by First Step Together Society, the Nepali Mela and Multicultural Showcasing (NMMS) led by the Nepalese Community Society of Calgary, First Aid Training for youth, youth conversation cafés, Bridge Fest by the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth, seniors’ engagement events, healthy aging initiatives, knowledge mobilization projects, digital literacy and driving support programs, and various other community-based collaborations.
