Many kids, youth, refugee families, and recent newcomers face barriers to enhancing digital literacy. Digital devices like laptops, desktops, tabs, etc., could help them access fundamental resources like completing homework online, preparing resumes, increasing their social network, etc. With in-kind support from Computers for School, the CRESS Centre, in collaboration with the Remember Refugee Society (RRS), periodically hosts device distribution events for needy Calgarians. The first round of device distribution was concluded in October 2024.
