
Many children, youth, refugee families, and recent newcomers face barriers in developing digital literacy skills. Access to digital devices such as laptops, desktops, and tablets can support essential needs including completing homework online, preparing resumes, and expanding social connections.
With in-kind support from Computers for Schools, CRESS Centre, in collaboration with the Remember Refugee Society (RRS), periodically hosts device distribution events for individuals in need within the Calgary community. The first round of device distribution was completed in October 2024.
