Kids and Families with Confidence (KFC)

 Funded by the Genesis Centre (Genesis Centre - Sports | Events | Programs | NE Calgary), Kids and Families with Confidence (KFC) aims to enhance the social inclusion of at-risk children and youth from racialized communities by engaging them in activities that can reduce screen time, develop leadership and life skills, and strengthen social connections. Parents are also providedwith information and learning opportunities to support their understanding of child and youth development, increasing their confidence and capacity in parenting. The activities under KFC include Home Alone Safety Training and guided multicultural arts and crafts sessions (Report link here). These activities are open to the public, and participants will be enrolled through the registration process.
