Nurturing Diversity (NMMS) Event

The CRESS Centre collaborates with the Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) to celebrate diversity and promote multiculturalism through the Nepali Mela and Multicultural Showcasing (NMMS) event. This is one of the largest multicultural events of its kind in Calgary, held annually in July.

The event features a wide range of cultural performances, including live bands and artistic showcases from diverse ethnic communities across Calgary, including Indigenous communities. Participating groups present and share their cultural heritage, fostering inclusion and cross-cultural understanding
