Nurturing Diversity (NMMS) Event

The CRESS Centre joins hands with the Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) to celebrate diversity and promote multiculturalism through the Nepali Mela and Multicultural Showcasing (NMMS) event, one of the biggest event of its kind in Calgary, which is hosted every year off in July. We have multiple cultural performances, including live bands from diverse ethnic communities in Calgary, including the Indigenous community. The participating communities showcase their cultural heritage (Nepali Mela 2024 - Highlights of Morning Parade - YouTube). Over 8000 visitors attend the event annually.
